Ronaldo unfazed by goal drought

Cristiano Ronaldo is unconcerned by his lack of goals this year and insists it will not be long before he is scoring regularly again.

The former Manchester United star got off to a flier after joining Real Madrid for a world-record Ј80million fee last summer, netting seven times in nine matches before picking up an ankle injury which sidelined him for two months in September.

On his return to the side he weighed in with a further four goals in five appearances, but has now gone three games without a strike since getting back from the winter break.

During that same period Madrid have picked up just four points from a possible nine and now trail Primera Liga leaders Barcelona by five points.

Ronaldo is taking things in his stride however and said: "I'm not worried about not having scored.

"These things will come naturally because I'm working the same as I always do.

"I'm not getting worked about it, I'm sure the goals are going to come."
