Osvaldo joins Espanyol

Osvaldo joins Espanyol

Bologna have allowed Pablo Osvaldo to join Espanyol on loan for the remainder of the season.

The striker has found opportunities hard to come by this term and has been given permission to leave in order to find first-team football.

The 23-year-old only joined Bologna last January for €7million from Fiorentina but has managed just one goal in his time at the Staid Renato Dall'Ara.

The Argentinean born frontman, Osvaldo also holds an Italian passport, has been linked with a move to West Ham in the recent past but has now opted for a switch to Spain.

"Osvaldo will spend the next six months in Spain with Espanyol," Bologna general director Luca Baraldi confirmed.
