Celta Vigo are understood to be keen on offering Bolton misfit Riga Mustapha a way out of the Reebok Stadium in January.
The Dutch winger joined the Trotters on free transfer from Levante in the summer of 2008.
But the 28-year-old has been limited to just four minutes of first-team football this season.
The Spanish second division side are thought to want to loan the player, with an option to buy, and negotiations are understood to be at an advanced stage.
But a potential stumbling block could be the money the Spanish side are prepared to pay, both to secure the winger's services on loan as well as for a permanent transfer.
