Soldado suffers injury setback

Getafe have been rocked by the news that Roberto Soldado will be sidelined for at least two months.

The striker picked up a knee injury during the 3-0 victory over Real Mallorca on 13th March.

Medical tests have now revealed that the 24-year-old is facing a lengthy period of rehabilitation before returning to action.

Soldado has travelled to Barcelona for treatment and it is hoped that he will be back in contention before the end of the season.

The former Real Madrid ace is Getafe's top scorer this season with 12 goals in the Primera Liga.

The capital club are pushing hard for European qualification, sitting eighth in the table, but must now cope without the services of their leading marksman.
