Real Madrid's Iker Casillas accepts that Daniel Parejo did nothing wrong in a clash that led to Getafe's first goal on Thursday night.
Madrid took a comfortable 4-2 win from the contest but Parejo's strike caused a flashpoint as he dispossessed the Spain international outside the area before slotting into the net.
Casillas was left prone on the ground clutching his ankle and angrily rejected Parejo when he came over the check on the goalkeeper.
Coach Manuel Pellegrini labelled former Real prospect Parejo "disloyal" for not putting the ball into touch when he saw the injury.
But Casillas has now brushed off the spat, admitting he overreacted and stating that the 20-year-old striker was blameless.
"When you dedicate yourself to this sport there are some heated moments and yesterday was one of them," he said.
"I have nothing to complain about with regard to Parejo. He did what he had to do and he wasn't at fault at all.
"He took the ball off me cleanly and the rules are clear. A player doesn't have to kick the ball out if the referee is right there on the spot."
