Reports in Spain suggest Everton have joined the hunt for Real Mallorca defender Ivan Ramis.
The 25-year-old was a target for SPL giants Celtic during the January transfer window, but the Hoops were unable to strike a deal with his Spanish employers.
Ramis is currently contracted to Mallorca until 2011, but the Primera Liga outfit have admitted that they would sell for the right price.
It is understood that a bid of around €6million would be enough to force their hand, with club president Mateo Alemany conceding that he is willing to do business.
"It is normal to sell players in our situation, but we will not just sell to any club," he said.
"If an interesting proposal arrives we will study it and decide what to do next."
Ramis' agent has also confirmed that interest in his client is mounting and admits he is set to hold talks with Mallorca officials at the end of the current campaign.
"There are some foreign clubs expressing an interest and I will meet with Mallorca at the end of the season to discuss the situation," he said.
