Sevilla had the better chances in an uneventful game at the Nuevo Condomina, but Clemente was content with the performance of his Murcia players, although no so happy with the result.
"The result I do not like, to tie at zero is not a good result. However, it is the best match we have played," he told reporters after the match.
"It was a very difficult match, very tense, and we played a good Primera Division standard match. The way the team performed was exquisite."
Clemente admitted that there were "bad things" about his side's performance but still felt that it was "the best implementation of our tactical plan that I have seen since I started training the team."
The point leaves Murcia seven points from top flight survival ahead of Sunday's games, but despite being on the verge of relegation, Clemente indicated that his players will keep up the fight until it is mathematically impossible to stay up.
"You can make the calculations that you want", he told the journalists in attendance, "I just take the situation from match to match."
