Real Madrid left-back Marcelo is itching to start work under new coach Jose Mourinho after claiming the Portuguese tactician is a "born winner".
The Brazilian defender was forced to watch his national side's unconvincing 2-1 win over North Korea on Tuesday after being overlooked by Dunga for the World Cup.
The 22-year-old former Fluminense performer is due to fly home for an extended break in Rio de Janeiro but he is excited at the prospect of linking up with the former Inter Milan and Chelsea boss when he returns to the Spanish capital.
"I'm looking forward to working with Mourinho," said Marcelo, who has targeted a trophy-laden season for Real under the guidance of 'The Special One'.
"He's a born winner and I'm happy about his arrival. I'm really excited to work with him.
"All of the footballers he has coached say he is very good and that's for a reason.
"Let's hope it's a year of successes for Real Madrid."
