Agent - No AC contact with Hleb

Agent - No AC contact with Hleb

AC Milan have not made any contact about a possible move for Alexander Hleb, according to the player's agent.

The Barcelona winger has seen himself fall out of favour at Camp Nou, having been on loan at former club Stuttgart for the previous campaign.

The 29-year-old moved to the Catalan giants in 2008 from Arsenal, but the Belarus international is now reportedly seeking a move away after rejecting the chance to join Milan's rivals Inter last year.

"I read on the newspapers about these stories, but sincerely there has been no contact," said agent Maurizio Gaudino told calciomercato.it.

"Even our collaborators in Italy were not contacted. In the next seven to eight days we will meet with Barcelona, we must understand their intentions and then, if the club decides to sell him, talk with the clubs concerned."

Hungry

Despite being a key part of the Gunners' setup in the 2007-8 season, Hleb decided to move to Barcelona, however the switch did not work out under Pep Guardiola and he will be looking to get what was a promising career back on track

"Hleb wants to prove he still has great career ahead, he's hungry for victories," added Gaudino.

"The refusal of Inter last year? It was his decision, perhaps wrong.

"I think now should be a possibility. AC Milan is one of the biggest clubs in the world."
