Barcelona presidential candidate Marc Ingla admits he dreams of being the man to unveil Cesc Fabregas at Camp Nou.
Ingla will take the top post at the Catalan giants on Sunday if he emerges victorious in the club's elections.
Should he be handed the reins, finalising a deal for Arsenal skipper Fabregas will be top of his priorities.
Barca have been tracking their former youth star for some time and have made no secret of their desire to bring the 23-year-old home.
Ingla hopes an agreement can be reached in the near future, giving him the opportunity to present the Spain international to a delighted fanbase.
"Cesc is a marvel, as is (David) Villa," he told Sport in a digital interview with readers of the newspaper's online version.
"My only worry is paying over the odds, but I confess that my dream would be to unveil Cesc as president.
"If he comes, I am convinced that Cesc will soon become the number one choice in his position."
SuitableWhile determined to seal Fabregas' signature, Ingla has made it clear that Barca will not be held to ransom by Arsenal, with one offer having already been snubbed.
"Anything between 25 and 35 million euros would seem suitable," he said.
On the possible departures of striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Yaya Toure, Ingla said he would trust the judgment of Barca's coaching staff.
"Whatever the coaches decide will be fine by me," he said.
"We won't interfere in technical issues - that's down to (coach) Pep (Guardiola) and (sporting director) Txiki (Begiristain)."
