Agent Rubbishes Forlan To Spurs Rumours

Forlan has been linked in the press with a return to English football, following an unsuccessful spell with Manchester United, but his agent, Daniel Bolotnicoff, has insisted he is happy with Atletico Madrid.

The Uruguayan has enjoyed success since joining Villarreal from Manchester United, winning the Pichichi with the Yellow Submarine before being snapped up as a replacement for Fernando Torres for Atletico.

He has since forged an effective partnership up front with Sergio Aguero, and claims that he may return to England as a replacement for Dimitar Berbatov - who, to complete the cycle, is being linked with Man United - have been shot down by his agent.

"Forlan is very happy at Atletico," Forlan's agent told El Mundo.

"I don't know anything about Tottenham's supposed interest and him leaving would be very difficult."
