Rigano Set For Italy Return

Rigano, like much of the Levante squad, is expected to leave the Ciudad de Valencia stadium after a horror season that saw many players go unpaid as the Granotes finished dead last in La Liga.

The Italian hitman, who scored four goals in 13 games during his short spell in Spain, was loaned out to Siena in January and is thought to be eyeing a permanent return to his homeland.

And it appears he will not be short of options, as Chievo Verona, Torino and Genoa are all thought to have made approaches for the 34-year-old.

Rigano is perhaps best known for his short stint at Messina, where he scored 19 goals in 26 games to finish third in the Serie A scoring charts in 2006-07.
