Japan international Shunsuke Nakamura has signed with Yokohama F Marinos, according to Espanyol.
Yokohama president Akira Kaetsu travelled to Spain on Thursday to open talks with Espanyol officials and both parties have reached an agreement for the transfer of the 31-year-old.
Japanese media have reported Nakamura has put pen to paper on a two-year deal after the La Liga outfit accepted a transfer fee of around Ј1.3 million.
The former Celtic star, who has struggled with the Parakeets since joining them in the summer, will link up with his new team in the next couple of days in time for their J-League opener against FC Tokyo.
