The former Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday defender has been linked with a move to European giants Barcelona.
However, Bougherra is not sidetracking himself with the speculation and is concentrating only on title glory.
The French-born ace will go to this summer's World Cup finals with Algeria and he knows a good season in Scotland will boost his career.
Concentrate"I've very concentrated on my football," he told Sky Sports News . "We'll see after the World Cup.
"I don't know what'll happen. I hope to sign a new contract with Rangers.
"I'm concentrating on the title. I know if I do well and do better I think it could be a good thing for me.
"My agent is away. I told him I'm concentrating on the season. I don't want any distractions.
"I'm here. I want to win the title again."
