Sunny outlook for Seasiders

Sunny outlook for Seasiders

Skysports.com understands Blackpool have invited Valencia's Nigerian midfielder Sunny for a trial at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is busy trying to put together a squad in time for the club's debut campaign in the Premier League.

Israel defender Dekel Keinan is set to become the Seasiders' first signing of the summer, while the likes of Malaury Martin and Francis Jeffers have been on trial.

It is now understood that Sunny has been offered the opportunity to earn a move to Blackpool after struggling to make the breakthrough at Valencia.

He spent last season on loan at Real Betis and was previously close to moving to the Premier League 18 months ago with Portsmouth.

However, that transfer eventually broke down and the 21-year-old will be hoping to enjoy better fortune with Blackpool.

If Sunny does impress during his stint with the Seasiders, it is believed he is available on loan with a view to a permanent move.
