Rosenborg defender Vadim Demidov's proposed move to Real Sociedad has collapsed.
The 23-year-old Norway international was due to switch to the Spanish side but the two clubs could not agree terms.
Demidov is now set to spend another campaign in the Norwegian top-flight before leaving when his contract expires at the end of the year.
"I don't think they will contact RBK now," he told Adresseavisen .
"Rosenborg rejected their offer and I understand them."
