Valencia have announced that they have agreed to sign striker Aritz Aduriz from Real Mallorca subject to a medical.
Last season's third-placed team in La Liga have not revealed the financial details of the deal but reports suggest that Mallorca will receive €4million (Ј3.3m) for the 29-year-old.
Aduriz, who will undergo his medical on Friday, will become Valencia's sixth signing after the arrivals of Roberto Soldado, Ricardo Costa, Mehmet Topal, Tino Costa and Sofiane Feghouli.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Valencia and RCD Mallorca have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Aritz Aduriz."
Club technical secretary Braulio Vazquez said: "We hope to have it all sealed (soon) but we are very satisfied and I think we have completed a large squad that is competitive and with many options."
Valencia are preparing for next season in the UEFA Champions League and are also restructuring following the sales of David Villa and David Silva to Barcelona and Manchester City, respectively.
