Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly lining up a shock move for Real Madrid icon Raul.
The 33-year-old striker is expected to leave the Bernabeu this summer after a glittering 18-year spell with the club.
Raul has been a stalwart for Madrid in recent years, although he has now fallen down the pecking order at the Bernabeu.
Raul is thought to have received offers from Germany, USA and Qatar, but he is believed to be keen on a move to England.
Tottenham, along with Newcastle, have been linked with an offer to bring the former Spain international to England.
Agent Barry O'Connor, who holds the mandate from Real to find Raul a club in England, admits there is a great deal of interest in the classy forward.
"With a player of this pedigree there is always a lot of interest but nothing will happen until Real Madrid give the official go-ahead that he can leave," O'Connor told The Sun .
