Sevilla are reportedly planning to make a move for SK Brann midfielder Erik Huseklepp.
The 24-year-old Norway international put in an impressive performance in his country's recent 4-0 victory over Scotland and Sevilla are now believed to be preparing a bid.
Spanish newspaper Marca quoted a club spokesman as saying it was a matter of when rather than if they would make an offer, and agent Stig Lillejord believes the interest is real.
"We have worked with the Spanish market for a long time," he told VG .
"I am not surprised that we are now seeing concrete interest from clubs."
However, Brann sporting director Roald Bruun-Hanssen will not discuss the situation at this stage.
"We have decided not to comment on anything until we receive specific offers," he said.
"Everything else is just speculation and we will not react to it."
