Barcelona have rewarded highly-rated youngster Pedro with a new five-year contract.
The 22-year-old found it difficult to break into the side last term and only made a handful of appearances.
However, he has been given plenty of opportunities in pre-season and has made a very positive impression, scoring four goals in seven games, including a spectacular strike in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup against Athletic Bilbao.
Barca have inserted a buy-out clause of €75million (Ј65m) into Pedro's contract.
