Arsenal wing-back Emmanuel Eboue has admitted it is an 'honour' to be linked with a move to Barcelona.
It has been mooted that the Ivory Coast international could leave Emirates Stadium this summer.
Fiorentina were credited with an interest but a move failed to materialise, with reports claiming the Gunners' asking price was too high for the Serie A club.
Barca have since been linked with a swoop for Eboue as coach Pep Guardiola allegedly seeks backup for first-choice right-back Daniel Alves.
Eboue is flattered by the speculation, telling skysports.com : "It is an honour to be linked with the best team in Europe, that means I am valued by people.
"I have lost my Arsenal place, and, while the papers talked about Fiorentina, nothing happened, so I don't know about Barcelona. Let's wait and see."
