Xavi admits that playing in the current Barcelona team is a joy in the aftermath of his side's demolition job on Arsenal.
The Spanish midfield maestro weaved his magic as he helped the Catalan giants overcome Arsenal in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final.
And Xavi was full of praise for his Barca team-mates, none more so than Lionel Messi, who shone with all four goals in the second-leg 4-1 win at Camp Nou.
"To play in this Barca side gives you huge satisfaction," he said.
"We did everything well, we were ordered in defence, our technical level was spectacular, we produced individual moments of brilliance and even when Arsenal were good enough to press us back, at times, we knew how to escape and keep on creating.
"It was not an easy match, because they are a big team and we had to work hard to escape around the field and create chances."
Xavi was delighted with Messi, who he hailed as a 'unique' talent.
"Leo is unique and for me it is a joy to be in the team with him, he can do things in every area of the pitch and that is possible because he is a genius," he said.
"To hit four goals in a match like this is outrageous, it was marvellous.
"Leo is on another level completely from every other player in the world, in a different class. If you are lucky you might find a player like this coming along every quarter of a century."
