Barcelona defender Eric Abidal admits the Catalans are playing for their season in what is a massive week for the club.
Barca take on Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night before taking on arch-rivals Real Madrid next Saturday in what is a crunch game that could decide where the Primera Division title ends up this term.
The Gunners travel to the Nou Camp having drawn the first leg 2-2 at the Emirates, with a place in the semi-finals of the competition at stake.
With 'El Clasico' just around the corner as well, Frenchman Abidal realises the importance of the next week.
"We're playing for the season this week," he said.
"Before the game with Madrid there is an important Champions League match and the best way to go into Saturday's game is by qualifying for the semi-finals.
"We are the reigning champions of the competition and we must fight hard for this trophy. For me it's the most important game of the season and at home, especially, we cannot slip up.
"We will have more confidence (for the Madrid game) and we will be stronger going into that game if we win."
Abidal has only just returned from a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a thigh injury and missed the first game against Arsenal.
Theo Walcott was brought off the bench to score and get the Gunners back in the game from the right wing, and he could come up against left-back Abidal in the Nou Camp.
He added: "Football is a sport that is played with the ball.
"It may be really good to run 100 metres in a little over 10 seconds, but the aim is to get to the goal.
"We'll wait for him there and we'll see what he can do with the ball. Let's see if he can get past four defenders."
