Pep Guardiola hopes Dani Alves and Seydou Keita will soon sign new long-term contracts with Barcelona.
Barca have been in talks with both players for some time about extending their current deals, which are set to expire in June 2012.
But nothing has been agreed yet and reports suggest the pair could leave Camp Nou this summer.
Alves' future in particular has been the subject of intense speculation, with a number of top clubs from England and Italy understood to be interested in the Brazilian right-back.
And Guardiola regards Keita and Alves as such integral figures that he is keen for the situation to be resolved quickly.
"These men are key to our game and it will be important to close this subject before the World Cup to avoid speculation in the coming weeks," Guardiola said in the Spanish press.
