A number of Europe's top clubs are interested in securing the services of Inter Milan full-back Maicon, according to the player's agent.
The Brazil international has been playing for the Nerazzuri since 2006 after making the switch from Ligue 1 outfit Monaco.
He has since established himself as one of the world's premier right-backs and is a stalwart of Jose Mourinho's current side.
Real Madrid were rumoured to be lining up a bid for the 28-year-old, with midfielder Lassana Diarra reportedly heading in the other direction.
But Maicon's agent Antonio Caliendo insists that the Spanish giants are not the only outfit who could make a move for the defender.
"An offer from Real Madrid? They are only rumours, but it's no mystery that he is liked and we are not surprised," he told Italian website calciomercato.it .
"There are a number of teams interested in Maicon, but now is not the time to disturb the player because Inter Milan are fighting in three competitions, even if in the past Maicon has always shown he doesn't bow to pressure from market voices."
