Giuseppe Rossi's agent has insisted there is 'nothing concrete' in reports linking the Villarreal forward with a move to Napoli.
The Italy international has regularly been linked with a switch back to his homeland and his representative Andrea Pastorello admits that would be an attractive proposition.
Napoli are believed to be monitoring his situation, although Pastorello says there has been no formal contact as yet.
Pastorello concedes that Rossi would be more willing to join Napoli if they qualify for Europe, but doubts whether such a transfer will go ahead.
"Rossi to Naples? There is nothing concrete," he told Radio Goal .
"For Giuseppe, to return to Italy would be a dream, but Napoli seems quite unlikely.
"Would it change anything if Napoli qualified for Europe? Anything is possible, certainly there would be a better chance."
