Primera Division side Hercules are reportedly set to make a bid for Juventus striker David Trezeguet.
The former French international has been the subject of interest from several Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, West Ham, West Brom and Aston Villa, as well as La Liga rivals Real Zaragoza.
Juve coach Ligi Del Neri is set to let the veteran striker leave after ten years at the Serie A giants, however his destination is yet to be decided.
Once regarded as one of the finest strikers in world football in his position, the 32-year-old may be tempted to join Hercules as an automatic starter rather than as a likely squad player at Anfield.
"David is excited by a new challenge, Hercules' chairman has money to spend," said Trezeguet's agent Antonio Caliendo to L'Equipe.
"David should make his final decision on Wednesday or Thursday. He will have a family gathering."
