Agent - Rossi staying put

Giuseppe Rossi's agent believes the Villarreal striker will stay in Spain for the coming season.

The hot-shot has previously been linked with Premier League sides Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and Manchester City, as well as Serie A outfits Juventus, Roma, Napoli and Fiorentina.

But agent Federico Pastorello believes the 23-year-old will stay at El Madrigal next term.

"Giuseppe Rossi will probably stay at Villarreal," Pastorello told Sky Italia .

"He has another three years left on his deal, even if important proposals don't arrive."

Rossi has again been linked with Fiorentina after striker Stevan Jovetic suffered an injury blow and will miss the majority of the season.

Asked about the link with the Viola, Pastorello added: "Fiorentina? There is an appreciation by the club, but it seems to me that the Viola won't move in market."
