Aguero plans Atletico stay

Aguero plans Atletico stay
Sergio Aguero has reiterated his desire to stay with Atletico Madrid amid continuing reports that he could make a big-money move to Inter Milan or Barcelona in the summer.

The Argentinian striker's brace against the Blaugrana on Sunday saw his stock continue to rise and he has been linked with a switch away from the Vicente Calderon.

While Barcelona have not commented on Aguero's situation, Inter have made it clear that they would be interested, but the player is not ready to leave Atletico just yet.

"I have enjoyed myself here and if the club wants me to stay, then I will stay," he told AS .

"If a player has several good games then offers may well be made, but as I have already said, if one is happy at a club then it is impossible to leave. There is no reason for it."

Confidence at Atletico is high after the Barcelona win and Aguero thinks that they can go to the El Santiago Bernabeu this weekend and beat a Real Madrid side that will pose different problems to Barca.

"They have different styles. Barca has better players going forward. Madrid like to attack, but not as much as Barcelona and I think that on Saturday we will need to play with four up front again," he added.
