Real Madrid captain Raul remains unflustered by the fact he still cannot get into the Spain squad.
Raul has not played for the Spanish national side since late 2006 and he subsequently missed his nation's triumph at Euro 2008.
He is still playing regularly for Real - but his form has not persuaded Spain coach Vicente del Bosque to end his exile.
And although he does still want to play for his country, Raul insists he is not letting it get to him.
"I'm not losing any sleep over it," Raul said, while adding that any decision on a return would be up to coach Del Bosque, his former mentor at Real.
He continued: "If they make the call I'll be delighted. Getting called up is a big privilege - but I'll not lose any sleep over it.
"I am calm about it. The situation has not changed."
Del Bosque - who took over from Luis Aragones - is due to name his next squad to face Turkey later this month and some reports in Spain claim Raul will be included.
