Lionel Messi has once again spoken of his desire to remain at Barcelona for the rest of his career.
The Argentina international joined the Catalan giants as a 13-year-old and has gone on to become one of the modern greats.
His meteoric rise to prominence now has him widely regarded as one of best players on the planet.
He has been in sparkling form once again this season, bagging 18 goals in 24 league games to help Barca to the top of the Primera Liga.
Messi has also netted six times in the UEFA Champions League and five times in the Copa del Rey.
He came second in the 2008 FIFA World Player of the Year awards in January, narrowly missing out to Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Manchester United winger has seen his future regularly called into question over the course of the last 12 months, but Messi knows where he wants his future to lie.
"I have said many times that if it were up to me I would stay my whole life at Barca," he said.
"There are some things money cannot buy such as happiness and how good I feel here," added the 21-year-old while replying to a question about whether he would consider signing for arch-rivals Real Madrid.
