Barcelona have suffered an injury blow ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash with Lyon with news that club captain Carles Puyol faces three weeks on the sidelines.
The defender twisted ankle ligaments after falling badly on his left ankle in the last minute of the 2-0 home win over Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.
He had to leave the pitch on a stretcher and Barca's medical department said he would undergo further tests on Sunday.
But they believe he could miss the last-16 second leg at home to Lyon on Wednesday and the league matches against Almeria and Malaga.
