Crusat open to Spurs switch

Crusat open to Spurs switch
Albert Crusat has admitted he would be interested in a possible move to Tottenham this summer.

The Spanish left winger has been in tremendous form for Almeria this season and has been linked with a switch away from the club during the transfer window.

He has been linked with Spurs in the Spanish press, although it is understood that no formal negotiations have taken place.

Crusat claims playing in the Premier League would be the pinnacle of his career but he is not getting carried away by the rumours at this stage.

"If Tottenham are following my work it will be because I have had a good season," said the 27-year-old, whose contract expires in June 2010.

"For me it is sensational but I leave everything in the hands of my agent.

"The Premier League is a success for any footballer. I am an ambitious player and it is normal that I desire to improve my career."

Meanwhile, Tottenham have also been linked with a summer swoop for Real Betis goalkeeper Ricardo.

The Portugal international is tied to Betis for two more years but reports suggest he does not figure in the club's plans for next season.

"Now we are focused on keeping the club in the Primera Division but it is certain that we are also studying some chances for the squad," commented director Manuel Momparlet.

"It is also necessary for many players to exit but at this moment we do not need to give names."
