Barcelona president Joan Laporta insists the club will be doing everything they can to keep Samuel Eto'o.
Eto'o has just over a year left on his current deal and speculation is abound that he may be tempted away from Camp Nou.
But Eto'o has always insisted he wants to stay in Catalunya and Barca chief Laporta has stressed that he wants him to remain.
"Samuel Eto'o is the best striker in the world," Laporta told Catalan radio station RAC1 .
"I need to find a solution and will put excellent conditions to him for him to stay in Barcelona.
"He is the top striker in the world and nobody gets close to him."
