Sanchez suffers injury blow
Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez could be ruled out for up to two months after picking up a leg injury during Saturday's Primera Liga clash at Real Sociedad. The Chile international, a big-money arrival at Camp Nou from Udinese this summer, was stretchered off during the first half of the 2-2 draw in San Sebastian. It was later diagnosed that 22-year-old Sanchez has torn a muscle in the back of his right leg. The initial prognosis is that Alexis will be out for between six and eight weeks, although he will undergo more tests on Sunday to determine exactly how long he will be absent for, according to Barca's official website. Sanchez looks set to miss a minimum of eight matches for Barca in both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League. He could also miss the first round of the South America qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup in October.
