Barcelona new boy Keirrison would be willing to join Serie A outfit Roma on loan, according to his agent.
The Brazilian only moved to Camp Nou on Thursday, completing a big money move from Palmeiras, but is expected to be shipped out for the 2009/10 season.
The 20-year-old is reported to have attracted interest from Porto, Benfica, Ajax and Valencia, but the player is understood to prefer a switch to Italy.
It is not known whether Roma would be interested in a season-long loan deal, but Keirrison's representative is keen to explore the possibility of such a move.
"Keirrison? It's down to Barcelona," Dario Canovi told Radio Centro Suono Sport .
Comparisons"I am aware that he didn't want to go on loan to Valencia and I think he could join Roma if they come forward for him.
"However, I am not sure if Roma have the space in their squad for a non-EU player."
Canovi believes his client would be a success in Italy, admitting comparisons to Fiorentina's Italian international Alberto Gilardino are not too far wide of the mark.
"People are right to compare him to Gilardino," he added.
"He is decisive in the box and he scores valuable goals."
