Kaka targeting Euro success

Kaka targeting Euro success

Kaka insists his top priority this season is to help Real Madrid win the UEFA Champions League.

The Liga giants are expected to challenge on all fronts this summer following Florentino Perez's monumental spending spree.

Real's new president is in his second stint at the helm of the Santiago Bernabeu outfit and has spent almost Ј200million on new players.

Along with landing Kaka, Real have also brought in the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Raul Albiol.

Former Milan ace Kaka sees the Champions League trophy as the one Real want the most ahead of the Liga title or Copa Del Rey.

Champions League

"I think the Champions League is the tournament every club wants to win. Every player wants to win the Champions League," he told Real Madrid TV .

"With this new project under Florentino Perez, I think Real Madrid can win it again."

The 27-year-old, who had been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City earlier this year, insists he would only leave AC for Real.

"If one day I had to leave Milan I wanted to come to Real Madrid," he added. "The most important thing is that my journey here has started.

"I'm just happy to be part of the best team in the world. You can play with the best players in the world.

"I'll be delighted to play with Ronaldo, Raul and Casillas and a lot of other players that play here. It's amazing."
