Last year, Real Madrid lifted the trophy on Jornada 38, but Joan Laporta's predecessor now feels that it's Barça's turn.
"We'll get it in the last match in the last minute," he said.
"That will make it even better."
Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero had previously stated much the same, to Gaspart's evident delight.
"If the leader of government says that, then it won't be me that says the opposite," he grinned.
He continued, "I always love Barcelona, as it's like a woman.
"Barça is one of the most beautiful women in the world. On certain days it may be more grateful, or less, but the 'woman' does not change, and everyone here loves her.
"And this is the last Spanish team that can win all three titles. Being sad as early as March, then, is a bit masochistic."
Declining to comment on the refereeing situation in Spain, he concluded, "Since a Rivaldo goal was ruled out in the final minute at the Bernabeu, I've stopped talking about referees.
"It's the action of a team that wins the Liga, not a ref."
