Jose Pinto's agent admits his client would be keen to try his luck in England if Barcelona decide to explore other goalkeeping options. Reports in Catalunya suggest Barca are keen to bring in another goalkeeper next summer. Pinto's contract is set to expire in June 2012, so that would suggest that he will be deemed surplus to requirements. The 35-year-old has been with Barca since 2008, but he has made just 34 appearances during his time at Camp Nou. Victor Valdes remains the undisputed first choice in Pep Guardiola's plans and Pinto has been forced to fill back-up duties. Option His representative insists the veteran shot-stopper would be happy to remain at Barca should a new deal be offered, but has revealed that the Premier League would be his preferred destination if the time comes to move on. "The first option would be to remain at Barca, if the club are interested," Juan Maraver told COMRadio. "If that is not possible, then he would prefer to go to the Premier League. "There have been rumours that Barca are searching for a new keeper for next season, but I don't want to comment on these things. "The player is calm at the moment and rumours will always surface at a club as big as Barcelona."
